Amit Shah Launches Goa’s ‘Mhaje Ghar Yojana’
Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated Goa’s ‘Mhaje Ghar Yojana’ and several development projects worth ₹2,452 crore on Saturday. The event, held in Goa, was attended by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Union Minister Shripad Naik, and other dignitaries.
Shah highlighted that the Mhaje Ghar Yojana reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s citizen-centric governance, granting ownership rights to thousands of Goans whose properties were long stuck in legal disputes. He praised CM Sawant’s leadership for merging 11 complex laws into a single framework, enabling quicker approvals for home repairs and ensuring access to water and electricity for beneficiaries.
