Ingredients

  • 4 medium fish fillets (pomfret or mackerel)

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp red chili powder

  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Salt to taste

  • 3 tbsp semolina (rava/suji)

  • 2 tbsp rice flour (optional, for extra crispiness

  • 2 tbsp oil for shallow frying

Directions

  • Clean and pat dry the fish.
  • Mix turmeric, chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt.
  • Marinate the fish with the mixture; rest for 10–15 minutes.
  • Mix rava and rice flour on a plate, coat the fish evenly.
  • Shallow fry on medium flame until golden brown on both sides.
  • Serve hot with lime wedges and salad. 🌿
