In a boost to Goa’s growing international tourism network, Britain-based TUI Airways is set to launch direct charter flights from the London to Goa for the 2025–26 winter season, starting November 5.
🌍 Strengthening Goa’s Global Connectivity
According to Goa’s Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte, the new charter services will further enhance the state’s global connectivity, making it easier for UK travelers to experience Goa’s beaches, culture, and hospitality.
These direct flights mark a continued partnership between TUI Airways and Freedom Holidays Pvt Ltd, the operator handling the Goa charters.
🛫 Flight Schedule and Routes
The TUI Airways winter schedule will include:
- Routes: Manchester ✈️ Goa and London Gatwick ✈️ Goa (Manohar International Airport, Mopa)
- Frequency: 4 flights per week (16 per month)
- Total flights for the season: 83, including
- 17 flights in December 2025
- 18 flights in January 2026
This initiative is expected to make North Goa more accessible to UK travelers and support Goa’s hospitality, transport, and tourism sectors during the busy holiday season.
🌴 Boost to Goa’s Winter Tourism
The return of regular UK–Goa flights signals renewed confidence in Goa’s international tourism appeal. The winter season traditionally attracts a high number of visitors from the UK, many of whom are long-stay tourists or repeat visitors who enjoy Goa’s tropical weather, beach shacks, and festivals.
Tour operators in North Goa have welcomed the move, noting that easier accessibility could translate into higher occupancy rates, especially around Christmas and New Year.
💬 What It Means for Travelers
With the launch of these non-stop flights, travelers can skip connecting stops in Mumbai or Delhi and arrive directly in North Goa — a huge convenience for those seeking a seamless holiday experience.
Early bookings are already open via TUI’s website and partner travel agencies.
